P-pop is officially in the Eurovision Asia conversation! Rising P-pop groups AJAA, DNA, VVINK, and WRIVE’s Russu are among the Filipino acts competing in the country’s selection night for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, giving P-pop another exciting platform on an international music stage.

They are joining a 10-song Philippine selection that also brings together OPM artists and collaborative performers. From P-pop groups to established Filipino voices, the selection is shaping up to be a major celebration of Filipino music.

P-Pop Joins Philippine Selection Night

AJAA is competing with “Make It Exist”, while DNA enters with “Between Bituin”. VVINK and WRIVE’s Russu is also in the running with “Round ‘N Round.” Seeing these P-pop names in the Philippine Eurovision Asia selection is already a win for the scene. The songs competing here do not need to be labeled as P-pop for their participation to matter. Their presence puts P-pop artists directly into a new Philippine music conversation with an international destination at stake.

And with OPM artists joining them, the 10 entries bring together different sides of Filipino music under one selection. P-pop pride and OPM pride are sharing the same stage, and that is a pretty exciting combination.
