NXTGEN Lineup Changes After Rojan and Riel Leave the Group

P-pop boy group NXTGEN is going through an unexpected shift in their journey, and fans are still taking it in.

Dreamstar Entertainment confirmed that Rojan Franco and Riel Franco are no longer part of the group, bringing NXTGEN down from seven members to five as they continue forward. What makes this change more emotional is that the two are brothers who shared the same path from the group’s beginning.

A quick look at NXTGEN’s early journey

NXTGEN is a P-Pop boy group under Dreamstar Entertainment, originally debuting as a seven-member act: Zack, Choco, Carl, Rojan, Xian, Riel, and Neero.

They officially debuted with “Kinikilig Ako Sa’Yo” on February 27, 2026, a bright and easygoing track that introduced their youthful sound to the P-Pop scene.

Before debut, they already gained early recognition, including being named Promising P-Pop Group of the Year at the 3rd Philippines Distinct Men & Women of Excellence Awards and performing at the Miss World Philippines 2026 Charity Gala Night at Okada Manila. Their first live performance of “Kinikilig Ako Sa’Yo” at Viva Café in Cubao also marked a key early moment for the group.

Since then, they’ve appeared in mall shows, campus tours, and TV guestings, slowly building their presence as a rising act under Dreamstar Entertainment.

A lineup change and what comes next

Dreamstar Entertainment confirmed that Rojan and Riel stepped away after the conclusion of their professional arrangement, following a family-requested decision. The statement expressed gratitude for their contributions during NXTGEN’s early journey.
