Rising P-pop girl group OONA is stepping into an exciting new era! The five-member act has officially joined Star Music, a record label under ABS-CBN, marking another major milestone just months after the release of their self-written single “DARAMA.” The announcement was made during the group’s media launch on July 31 at the Matrix Creations Events Venue in Quezon City, where OONA was formally welcomed by Star Music executives.
The move also places OONA alongside fellow P-pop acts under Star Music, including BINI, BGYO, WRIVE, Baby Dolls, and more. It’s another exciting leap for a group that has been steadily gaining momentum since introducing themselves through “DARAMA.”
With Star Music, Aguila Entertainment, and Islah Entertainment now working together to co-manage the group, OONA is gearing up for an exciting new chapter as they continue building their place in the ever-growing P-pop scene. As their journey continues to unfold, fans now have even more reasons to look forward to what’s next.
The celebration came with another surprise for fans. During the media launch, OONA treated attendees to the premiere performance of their newest song, “Unang Tingin.” The track explores the idea that first impressions don’t always reveal a person’s true self while encouraging listeners to embrace their individuality and confidence.
The performance offered an exciting preview of the group’s next musical chapter, giving fans an early taste of what’s on the horizon after their debut release.
OONA is made up of former MNL48 members Isaki and Coleen, joined by Jaylou, Kari, and Bella. Together, the five-member act continues to impress fans with their talent, combining powerful vocals, polished performances, captivating stage presence, and undeniable charisma every time they step on stage.
